Ancillary - Poster - Gorilla Photos

Shown here are some examples or test subjects for the poster section of my project, granted half of the poses are not useable as my actor can be hard to control, though if he wasnt i would struggle to get a confident actor who wouldnt care about shaming himself dressed as a gorilla. Pictures marked X are rejected as potential poster material to be used in my final image as I started by eliminating those i did not like for reasons such as lack of lighting.

This picture/pose is more of a test subject then a potential poster

In this photo my model is posing as though holding onto the side off a building (building to be digitally inserted).
I rahter dislike the way the head piece has turned

In this image, my actor is posing as though dominated by rage. i may or may not use this image, i am still undecided as to wether or not i think it has potential to be a movie poster. The hands of the suit are seperate to the jumpsuit that make the body and this means there is a slight lack of fur on the wrists. this could be editted in but my but too much work.

Here my gorilla model is freestyling some poses. i wont use this image as the pose looks too much like someones facebook display picture.

Here, my model threw his head back to make gorilla noises, the steriotypical way, in order to get into character, but unfortunately his colar became visible under the mask. this may become an annoying problem with the suit. i may have to purcahse a new mask.

This is a photo from the same series as the previous photo, but looks a bit like he is imitating a chicken rather then a gorilla.

In photos like this one where Medway chose his own poses, he unknowingly sticks his arm off the edge of the green screen. This however is not a problem as the white background is just as easy to remove via photoshop as the greenscreen. it does however pose a potential problem when filming for my trailer. It show that i have limited space in which to act in.
The pose however does look like a facebook display picture

In this photo, after a little bit of jumping around, the actor is looking directly at the camera  but the head is not on straight and you can see Medway's shirt colar, deeming this photo not worthy.

Here my actor decided to try another pose which for some reason gave an odd effect (most likely due to the lighting) on the glove whihc i have not been able to replicate.

This photo shows the actor in a better gorilla pose, on all fours. I was too close to the actor when taking the photo and the use of the flash lit up the suit far to much ( maybe due to the material the suit is made of).

This photo is the exact same pose as the previous pose but from a different angle. the same lighting problems occur again.

Special thanks to Michael Medway - my Gorilla Model.
